Two more people have been arrested related to a robbery at London's Heathrow Airport in which over twenty individuals were injured by a substance believed to be an irritant spray, according to police.

A 24-year-old man, was arrested in the Lambeth area on suspicion of theft and assault and a woman, 23 was detained for suspected conspiracy to commit robbery. They both are still being held, the force said.

The arrests follow an investigation into an attack at the multi-storey car park at Terminal 3 on Sunday. Prior to the attack, a pair of female travelers had stolen from them their suitcases after getting out of a parking garage elevator.

A three-year-old girl was among the those hurt during the incident. A total of five individuals were taken to the hospital for treatment and were later discharged.

Officers arrested a man in his thirties on suspicion of robbery and assault near the scene. He was subsequently released pending further inquiries as the investigation proceeds.

Authorities were called at approximately 8:10 in the morning GMT after reports came in regarding several people hurt by an irritating chemical believed to be pepper spray.

The attack - which authorities stated was isolated and not considered an act of terror - resulted in train delays and the partial closure of the Central Terminal Area tunnel and the T3 car park briefly.
